Root Canals

When the tooth gets infected to the point where the nerve is infected, a root canal therapy is recommended. The dentist will then drill into the pulp and remove the infected pulp thereby drilling the nerve out of the root canal. Once the tooth is infection free, the hole is filled and sealed and allowed to dry. The dentist may then place a cap over the tooth to ensure rigidity as depicted in the video below.
